Getting out of your country or city for holidays is something you should experiment, at least once or twice a year. Choosing our holidays destination and making a planning is required if you want to avoid unpleasant surprises. Actually we can find in Internet useful information for affordable holiday offers or cheap car hire, cheap flights and economic hotels anywhere.

Holiday offers

My recommendation is to decide your holidays destination first, do not pay much attention to the holiday offers we can find online, and then search for flights, hotels and car rentals, but not in different order. If anything goes wrong, you will not think something like ‘I wish I would had gone to where I selected at first instead taking those ‘cheap holiday packages’.

We first need to know where to go for holidays, then the accommodation for a selected date and a flight for getting there; once we have our flight number, we can hire a car online using that flight number as the car rental company would offer pick-up services, but they need to check our flight arrival.

Do not worry that much about prices, it is very easy to find affordable holiday offers, as example we can get cheap car rental in Las Vegas or in Canada, there are prices for all budgets.

Luxury holidays

If you are one of those lucky people who just does not care about the money to spend, then you have nothing to worry about your holidays; you just have to decide about what is your favourite destination for this year, and where to hire the car, book your accommodation and your flight.

Dubai is a very popular destination example for luxury holidays as well as the Caribbean Islands which is at the same time a luxury destination but affordable for those with a smaller budget.

Original Holidays

Some tourists are just tired of the most popular locations worldwide, if you are one of them do not worry….there is a trip for every one of us, even for those looking to make a trip to Antarctica, North Pole (a very popular destination for Russian people) or South America which has very interesting places to visit for those original holidays…Which one attract you the most?

Useful tips for our holidays

Hiring a car is very recommended if we want to get the most from our holidays, if you are not sure…just think if you were a tourist in your current city…how easy would be to enjoy the most of it? Is public transport good enough for our daily transportation? Are the main locations close to each other for visiting? Are there interesting locations to visit more than 30 km. away from the city centre?

Without any doubt car hiring will be useful for your trips, but before renting one, you may decide which car rental model will fit the best to your needs. If you are looking for adventure a SUV is a good idea, family holidays or cheap transportation may require a different car model, there is an option for everyone.

Undoubtedly, choosing our holidays destinations is an important decision to take, but it is a decision we may take the next year again. My advice is to select a destination far away from our daily city life, to break monotony, and then search for our holidays resources like cheap car hire.

Aruba is one of the exotic islands worth visiting in the Caribbean. Actually it is in the southwestern region in the Caribbean. It is well known among tourists because of its waters and marine life. Tourism became a boom in Aruba starting from the 90s. And since that period, the island continues to cater thousands of tourists from different part of the globe every year. Aruba is also one of the favorite destinations among popular celebrities. Never be surprised if you will see them sun bathing. Along with its popularity, there are several package deals offered by accommodation units and travel agencies.

Package deals offered by accommodation units are fitted for all budgets, interests and tastes. There are also luxurious hotels in the island if you want to have a luxurious stay and amenities. Among these hotels that offer the best deals Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort Aruba-Beach Resort & Casino, Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino, Marriott Aruba Ocean Club, Divi Aruba Beach Resort Mega All Inclusive, Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive, and Hotel Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort & Casino. But if you want to visit Aruba just to have a relaxing and exciting holiday away from those luxuries and probably would want to save money, then Hotel Brickell Bay Beach Club, Hotel the Mill Resort & Suites and Hotel Manchebo Beach Resort are an option.

When US is experiencing their winter season, the Caribbean island of Aruba is enjoying its warm and fine weather. In fact this place is a good venue to escape the winter season and enjoy under the sun. With an average annual temperature of 82°F (28°C), visitors are guaranteed a pleasant and fine climate regardless of season. The temperature of Aruba would never exceed than 89°F or 32°C. On the other hand, their lowest temperature would never go below 76°F or 24°C, allowing visitors to enjoy the nightlife all throughout the year. And since most of the people living in the upper part of the globe are experiencing winter blues, December to April is the best time to go to Aruba. Obviously, Aruba lies near the equator, but then there is a consistent eastern trade wind that cools the island and prevents typhoons from coming over the island. This trade wind also creates perfect conditions on the eastern coast for sports such as windsurfing. On the other hand, the calm waters of the western coast are great for scuba diving and snorkeling. The sun even rises and sets at nearly the same time every day, allowing visitors to enjoy a majestic Caribbean site any time of year. Perhaps best of all, the island is never threatened by tropical storms.

Most of the best resorts in Aruba are along the southwestern coast, particularly around Palm and Eagle Beaches. Most of the affordable and cheap accommodations lies on Eagle beaches, while luxurious once are situated at Palm beaches. Staying in the Eagle beaches doesn’t mean that you would not enjoy your stay. It would just mean that you are being practical and you don’t need luxurious amenities to enjoy. After all, you are staying in one island with the same open crystal clear sea.

With the country in the grips of a fierce recession and one of the wettest summers ever recorded in the UK this year, its little wonder that many people feel cheated out of their summer holidays. With the thoughts of cold frosty mornings and long dark evenings ahead, spirits are low and more and more of us are thinking about finding late deal holidays.

Winter destinations usually mean a long haul flight; however this doesn’t always have to be the case. Egypt, Cape Verde, and Morocco are all within a few hours flight from of the UK and are great places to start looking for your late deal holidays.

Cape Verde: Discover the exotic beaches of the Caribbean without the long haul flight. Lying just off the West African coast (underneath the Canaries) Cape Verde consists of ten small volcanic islands and five tiny ones; a mixture of deserted beaches and baron landscapes with spectacular mountain ranges and fertile green fields. Whether it’s the peaceful islet of Boa Vista or the lush and lively Santiago you visit, late deal holidays to Cape Verde are the perfect winter destination.

Morocco: Located on the North West coast of Africa, Morocco enjoys 300 days of sunshine every year and is an aromatic, colourful blend of beautiful beaches, fascinating Kasbahs and classis architecture. Choose from the enchanting city of Marrakech with vibrant markets and friendly locals, or a relaxing beach break in Agadir. With just a three hour flight time from the UK, Morocco is an excellent choice for late deal holidays this winter.

Egypt: The breathtaking Red Sea region of Egypt is just a 5 hour flight from the UK, and has endless sandy beaches and superb snorkelling and scuba diving opportunities with a fantastic selection of first rate hotels. Although renowned for its famous pyramids, captivating temples, magnificent River Nile and medieval bazaars, Egypt is a country of immense beauty and warm in hospitality.

Goa: The perfect time to visit Goa is October to February when you’ll be indulged by a near perfect climate of hot, sunny days and refreshing low humidity. Bordering the Arabian Sea in India, this former Portuguese colony mixes European trends with Asian culture to a fault and has long been a favourite with foreign tourists. The relaxing pace of life from the laid back spirit of its hippy heydays in the 1960’s is still very much in evidence today.

Kenya: Kenya has some of Africa’s premium beaches and outstanding landscapes, from the tips of the beautiful Mount Kenya down to the wonderful white fringed shores of the Indian Ocean; the scenery is breathtaking and brimming with oversize alpine plants and fascinating wildlife. The beautiful Savannah that stretches below is home to game parks such as Amboseli, Tsavo, Masai Mara, and Samburu, where you could be lucky enough to witness some of the most exciting wild animals in the world, and observe them in their natural habitat.

St Lucia: A Caribbean Windward Island, St Lucia is greeted on one side by the Atlantic Ocean and the other by the Caribbean Sea. This volcanic island is dominated by the twin peaks of the Pitons whose summit offers fantastic views of the bay beneath. Temperatures can still reach the low eighties during winter months making St Lucia a heavenly late deal holiday’s destination.

Sri Lanka: Just off the main coast of India this teardrop shaped island has it all…palm fringed beaches, endless white sands and lush mountain scenery. Sri Lanka is a safe haven to bird sanctuaries and national parks where you can see leopards, wild boar, and elephants enjoying life in their natural habitat. With no less than seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites this stunning island is the perfect paradise setting for late deal holidays this winter.

Mexico: This Central American country links the north to the south and is full of life and colour. Free time and families are both major priorities in Mexican life so you know you will receive an extremely warm welcome from the people here. Whilst still getting over the side effects of Swine Flu, prices in Mexico are very reasonable in an effort to encourage tourists back to the country, so now is a great time to book late deal holidays to Mexico.

Florida: Clearwater Beach is part of a peninsula on Florida’s west coast and has an entry in the Guinness World Record books for having the most consecutive sunny days; 361 days of incessant sunshine make this record breaking town the perfect winter destination. Well situated for Disney World and Universal Studios with broad sandy beaches that stretch into the shallow waters of the Gulf of Mexico making it just right for swimming.

Jamaica: The third largest Caribbean island and debatably the most colourful. A riot of red, gold and green, with the pulsating reggae beat at the very heart of this islands musical spirit and the legendary bob Marley Museum one of its most famous attractions. Combine the easy pace of life, white sandy beaches, blue mountain peaks and tropical mountain blooms together and you’ve got the perfect winter paradise. Peak season here is December to April so kick off your shoes let your hair down and get ready to dance to the catchy reggae beat.

There’s no reason to wait for summer to come round again next year…it’s probably not worth waiting for anyway…consider late deal holidays now and escape to some much needed winter sunshine and well earned relaxation, recharge your batteries and get ready for the onslaught of Christmas on an peaceful tropical beach. Whatever your budget or taste, there’s a winter sun holiday out there waiting just for you.

Holidays to the British Virgin Islands and more specifically Tortola may not be something you have considered before, but it is very well worth some investigation before booking your next Caribbean Vacation. Tortola is the largest of the British Virgin Islands, and an island of contrasts from the hustle and bustle of the capital Road Town, to the beautiful yet empty beaches, to the total peace and tranquillity of Sage Mountain National Park.

Whatever type of Caribbean Vacation you are looking for you can be sure your holidays on the British Virgin Islands and particularly Tortola will have everything you are looking for. Tortola is the largest of the British Virgin Islands and is its’ main island, with more than 80% of the population living on the island which covers about 24 square miles with over 30 sheltered bays. Big enough never to be bored, yet small enough to explore all of it in a two week holiday on this British Virgin Island. One of the beauties is that the island isn’t large enough or populated enough for the large tour party.

Most people associate Tortola as the epicentre of the BVI’s famous sailing community, and of course it is, but there is far more to Tortola than just sailing, so don’t be put off going to the British Virgin Islands because sailing isn’t your passion.

The sheer quality of Tortola’s beaches could leave you speechless, and the choice is enormous. Starting with Cane Garden Bay, to Smugglers Cove, from Little Bay to Lambert Beach there are lots to visit and enjoy. White sand and palm fringed with little bars to keep your liquid content up between swimming in the warm clear, clean turquoise sea.

Sun bathing can be hard work, and when the sun goes down you will find your appetite more than satisfied with a good number of restaurants and bars scattered throughout Tortola to remove your hunger pangs and quench your thirst. There is everything from inns, to small restaurants all the way up to top quality gourmet establishments.

There are a number of other things the non sailor can do on Tortola including walking and hiking. Sage mountain is well worth a climb, and you will find traces of primeval rainforest.

What about swimming with dolphins at Prospect Reef, now that is a real treat. None of the Florida pool dolphins here, this is the real wild untamed thing, as different as chalk from cheese, and a real privilege.

If you want to go snorkelling then head to Brewer’s Bay, where you will find the quality of undersea life quite excellent, or y.ou could take the time to learn to windsurf, or even kite surf or boogie board, because all these opportunities exist on Tortola.

Overall Tortola has a very laid back feel to it, for example traffic lights only appeared for the first time seven years ago, and many people describe it as paradise.

If you are going to go to the Caribbean, then you could do a lot worse than check out holidays on the British Virgin Island Tortola. It’s beautiful, friendly and the weather is great.

With its pristine white sand beaches and clear blue warm waters, Barbados presents visitors on holidays to the Caribbean with the best the islands have to offer. Well-known as an attractive destination within the region, holiday in Barbados are lucrative, with friendly and hospitable locals, and wonderful sights of nature around every corner. That’s not even mentioning the opportunity for ultimate relaxation of lazing on the beach under the Caribbean sun!

The climate of the Commonwealth countries is particularly alluring to guests in more northern reaches of the world, as the temperature averages 25 to 28 Celsius year-round, with low humidity, whilst a cool breeze always the palm trees are swaying, and ensures against it feeling too hot.

Of course, the gorgeous weather isn’t the only natural wonder of this Caribbean island, as many geographical oddities dot the small island nation. Those on holiday in Barbados would be remiss to pass up the chance to visit the fascinating Harrison’s Cave, a cavern featuring underground streams, lakes and waterfalls providing hours of exciting exploration. Adventurous holidaymakers might also choose to travel through the island’s verdant interior on a 4×4 tour.

Many on holiday on Barbados might prefer to take to the sea, though, as its crystalline waters beg visitors to take a dip. Barbados facilitates by offering many aquatic activities scattered about its shores. If you’ve ever watched films or television and seen riders catching waves – well then, maybe it’s your turn! Many surfing instructors and rental facilities call Barbados home and often, you needn’t have any experience to sign up. With the proper instruction, you could be ripping a killer wave by the end of your stay!

For a more laid back, underwater adventure, take to the warm gulf waters for an opportunity on holiday to swim along Barbados’ large sea turtle population, as the gentle, social creatures can be seen around and about the island’s many reefs. Plunge to further depths with a snorkelling excursion, where holidaymakers can explore the ocean floor and its diverse flora and fauna. Alternatively, those seeking a laid back jaunt might want to explore Barbados’ coast on a catamaran tour, were you can leisurely cruise about the island, sipping drinks on the calm waters.

All of these features make Barbados a tremendous draw for extended holidays and special occasions like weddings and honeymoons, creating a serious demand for holidays in Barbados. Many couples make the journey to the Caribbean to tie the knot in the idyllic settings of the sun-kissed sands of the island of Barbados.

When you are planning a vacation to the Caribbean, particularly Antigua, think nothing less than a luxury holiday package, because you deserve it; not only this, timely booking of hotels and resorts make luxury holidays quite affordable.

The Caribbean region can be visited any time of the year, other than the hurricane season, because the sea is really rough, and it is not possible to indulge in water sports like sailing and surfing. The overall temperature of this region is tropical, which is one of its major attractions for people coming from the European countries.

Even the special luxury holiday packages are not so expensive because of the low air fares, tourism friendly facilities in the region and very reasonable accommodation.
Flaunting the third-longest river, South America’s largest lake, the highest waterfall in the world and longest snake in the world, Venezuela is a spectacular land. With the Amazonian jungle, to its south, Peaks of Andes to its west and exotic Gran Sabana plateau to its east and white sandy beaches on the Caribbean coast, Venezuela is resplendent with bountiful nature. With all these assets, Venezuela becomes a great tourist spot to spend those fun filled vacations.

A major attraction in Venezuela is a group of 300 sandy islands called Los Roques. The islands and islets are located in the aquamarine waters, to the northern part of Caracas. The tourists, who wish to pursue water sports, can engage in diving and snorkelling. In 1972, the entire archipelago was declared as a national park. The waters that surround the archipelago are rich in marine life like lobsters and the majority of the islands are uninhabited.

Another famous spot is the Guacharo Cave, which is Venezuela’s longest cave system. The inhabitants of the 10.2 km cave are the guacharo or oil bird. The bird lives in complete darkness and searches for food, during the night. During the months of August to December, a large number of Guacharos come to the cave that is filled with stalactites and stalagmites.

Delta del Orinoco is a nature lover’s paradise with islands, channels, mangroves and swamps. it is one of the world’s greatest river deltas and captivating regions. Howler monkeys, Piranhas and parrots make the delta more attractive. The River splits into 40 channels and flows along the Atlantic coast. The inhabitants of the delta are the Warao Indians or the Canoe people.

The Parque Nacional Henri Pitter is the most diverse and oldest of the national parks, in Venezuela. The park has a long coastline, a variety of bird species, suitable for bird-watchers, a few paths that can be traversed by the hikers and colonial towns and the park resonates with the African drum beats. The park was established in the year 1937 and named after the Swiss Botanist Henri Pittier. The park’s highlights are the variety of bird species that amount to about 600. The animals housed in the park include deer, tapirs, pumas, peccaries, ocelots, armadillos, snakes, and bats. The park is home to colonial towns like Puerto Colombia.

The world’s highest waterfall, Angel Falls is Venezuela’s much sought after tourist attraction. It is 979 metres high and is sixteen times higher than Niagara Falls. The cascade gushes and falls into the Devila canyon. The falls is named after Jimmie Angel, an American Bush pilot. Only when travelling by boat can you get close to the Waterfalls.

Venezuela offers tourists of all types something to cherish. It can be a haven for trekkers, hikers, water sports lovers, beach lovers and nature. The hikers can explore the mountainous regions of the flat-topped sandstone mountains, Roraima. The adventurous can climb the mountain and rock formations and satisfy their daring side. For the beach lovers, the long stretches of sandy beaches will suffice and for the nature lovers, the bountiful nature of Venezuela with rivers, waterfalls and exotic natural settings make Venezuela a great place to visit and enjoy.

Summer time is mostly about escaping the oozing heat of the sun. Maybe go to some place really cold where you can ski and snowboard for life. In some cases, it’s enjoying it in a quiet little paradise and savouring every moment of it away from the daily hassles of work. Hawaii for some reason has been the summer hangout of the world. Why not do it at some place that’s not totally typical. Like maybe instead of the Pacific, let’s go for the Atlantic and I have just the perfect place for you.

Bermuda is a group of coral islands in the Atlantic Ocean and is actually a dependency of the United Kingdom. It is usually a popular resort centre not only among the Europeans but also among everyone else. They lie midway between Nova Scotia, Canada and the West Indies about 1,000 kilometers away from New York City. It’s a total haven to all the vacation seekers out there. But first off, let me give you a head start to five of the must see places in the Bermuda Islands.

The Devil’s Hole Aquarium is the first and oldest tourist attraction in Bermuda. Although it has been developed into a well-designed centre, many of its unique and foremost features have been retained. The Devil’s Hole is a natural fish pond where about 300 species of fish can be found. A gift shop and a ship are allotted to give you a personalized sense of enjoyment.

If you’re in search of holy ground, check out the St. Peter’s Church which dates way back to 1619. It has a unique Bermudian woodwork architecture that’s been kept for the past 500 years. The St. Peter’s Church was brought by the first settlers and is a part of the World Heritage Site. Craving for history and new facts? The African Diaspora Trail brings you the meeting place of the African, Caribbean, Native America, and British heritage. It highlights the most of the many interesting points about the islands.

Go beyond your imagination and check out the Crystal and Fantasea Caves of Bermuda Islands. Discovered in 1884, it’s been hailed as a silent world of delicate splendour. Crystal stalactites and stalagmites posing as Mother Nature’s offspring for over 30 million years now, the cave is definitely a must-see attraction.

For the travel junkie on the lookout for action, you might want to go to the Snorkel Park. The hospitality of the locals caters to all the amenities and services of the beach-goers. The water sports are just so cool, it’s just so impossible to stop. The Bar and Grill of the resort offers the tropical favourites and the local foods. This is one place you definitely do not want to miss.

Basically, those are just a few of the many attractions in The Bermuda Islands. The pink sands and the cerulean blue sea make the island more appealing in its own natural way. Setting aside the beach, the treasured heritage of the British dependency should be another magnetic pull for the travel aficionado. Bermuda is a summer haven and there should be no mistaken it.

Who doesn’t like the idea of a romantic vacation in a place full of orange leaves? As summers bid goodbye, foliage emerges and trees change dry hills into a patchwork of colors.

The choice of places narrows down to those where one can feel the autumn around. Romance quotient is the biggest factor along with a serene view. It is an entirely different season from others. It is time to cover acres of land varied with resplendent fall foliage and enjoy facilities like a bon-fire or spa massage.

Let us start with the famous New England & Northeast US. The Greater Portland Casco Bay is a place worth visiting. Portland, the largest city in Maine is famous for regional seafood, Federal style architecture and first class dining facilities. No other place in the world matches England’s fall foliage. One has to see the kaleidoscope of colors to believe it. The six states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Vermont serve more or less the same picturesque. Be it whale watching, pasture-gazing, farm-houses or a mountain range, these places are blessed to their zenith.

The next destination is Fiji. This South-Pacific destination will give you all the nostalgic memories which will stay with you for a lifetime. People visit Fiji to explore the undiscovered beauty and marvelous lagoons. Fiji’s hideaways are quite popular among the visiting tourists for their diving-sites and natural beauty. Fiji has grown its tourism into 5-star resorts and private villas which cater to the needs of every visitor’s whim.

The states of Rajasthan and Gujarat in Indian subcontinent serve maximum tourists in this season. Some of them enjoy camping in the sugary deserts of Rajasthan. Others prefer to go on a Lion-safari in Gujarat. Cities like Jaisalmer, Jodhpur boast of a rich cultural heritage. Gir wildlife sanctuary has the last lot of Asian lions. It is a breath-taking scene to watch a lioness hunt down a deer just a few meters away.

Tourist places like Florida and Western Caribbean should be avoided during this time of the year. Regular hurricanes are bound to spoil your vacation.

Australia is another beautiful tourist-destination. The Green Cauldron, the Flinders Ranges and the mighty Alps are a few hot-spots. Kakadu is a World Heritage-listed National park. The place comes alive with extraordinary wildlife and Aboriginal rock art. The lively outback oasis on the Murray River is famous for its endless sunshine, picturesque vineyards and ancient lunar landscapes. Sydney harbor and the Great Barrier Reef are added assets to this continent.

Spain is another favorite tourist-place in Europe. Pyrenees is famous for its skiing and thus attracts a major chunk of tourist-population. Spain has the second largest number of World-Heritage sites recognized by UNESCO. Spain is also known for its wine and green pastures. The Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean is a beautiful place to visit.

We have seen some really diverse choice of destinations for this season. This is the reason why you should plan your trip carefully. We wish you all the best and hope you have a great time with your family this autumn.

Escape the five star monstrously huge Cuba All Inclusive Hotels and escape to Villa Las Brujas a romantic destination perfect for the reality escape

Cuba isn’t all five star, all inclusives, with wristbands, although if you believed everything you read and hear that might be the impression you get. If you know where to look and go then Villa Las Brujas could be the perfect romantic destination for you both.

Lots of people don’t associate Cuba with a romantic destination, and whilst it is true that Cuba has a reputation for large five star ‘Gin Palaces’, which tend to be all inclusives, complete with wristbands. For some this is a nightmare, for others it provides a base for seeing the historic Cuba of Havana. You need relaxation time away from all of this, and the perfect romantic destination for you might be Villa Las Brujas on Cayo Las Brujas.

Be warned it is very inaccessible, but with its reputation as a peaceful paradise, you might expect that anyway. From the mainland it is an extraordinary road to Villa Las Brujas, crossing loads of bridges which connecting tiny coral islands, mangrove swamps, and after about an hour you will reach a larger island where there is a small airport and three hotel complexes. .

Villa Las Brujas will provide you with a real getaway from it all destination, and a great romantic destination for a two or three day stopover on your grand tour of Cuba.

The rooms in the cabanas have great views, and in fact the accommodation is so spacious it would be more accurate to call a room a suite, because of the size of the sitting area.

The beach overlooked by the cabanas is very attractive but quite small, although in fairness there are only 24 rooms, so there is plenty of room for all.

There are a variety of reports about the food in the restaurant, and it would appear that the local seafood, especially the lobster, is the star item on the menu, and the reports of the chicken not as good, but overall the food gets the thumbs up. This is just as well because it is a long way to the nearest restaurant, literally having to return from where one originally came! When judging food in Cuba it is also important to realise that standards are a lot lower than in Europe, and quite a bit lower than in other places in the Caribbean, so judged by theses standards the food at Villa Las Brujas stands up well to comparison.

In fairness you can’t really have isolation, giving you a romantic destination and half a dozen restaurants nearby, it just doesn’t work that way. The Villa Las Brujas is definitely not the place for those who enjoy night life and parties on their vacation.

In fact unless you own a car, so you can escape and eat out occasionally, because the distances involved for taxis make them prohibitively expensive, Villa Las Brujas is probably a good place to come for a few days only. It is a terrific romantic destination because of where it is, but the isolation is only any good for a short time, this despite the really nice staff, the fabulous beach, and the overall ambience.

Yes a great romantic destination, but as part of your holiday in Cuba, not all, as there is so much else to see and do.
