The choice of places narrows down to those where one can feel the autumn around. Romance quotient is the biggest factor along with a serene view. It is an entirely different season from others. It is time to cover acres of land varied with resplendent fall foliage and enjoy facilities like a bon-fire or spa massage.

Let us start with the famous New England & Northeast US. The Greater Portland Casco Bay is a place worth visiting. Portland, the largest city in Maine is famous for regional seafood, Federal style architecture and first class dining facilities. No other place in the world matches England’s fall foliage. One has to see the kaleidoscope of colors to believe it. The six states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Vermont serve more or less the same picturesque. Be it whale watching, pasture-gazing, farm-houses or a mountain range, these places are blessed to their zenith.
