Summer time is mostly about escaping the oozing heat of the sun. Maybe go to some place really cold where you can ski and snowboard for life. In some cases, it’s enjoying it in a quiet little paradise and savouring every moment of it away from the daily hassles of work. Hawaii for some reason has been the summer hangout of the world. Why not do it at some place that’s not totally typical. Like maybe instead of the Pacific, let’s go for the Atlantic and I have just the perfect place for you.
Bermuda is a group of coral islands in the Atlantic Ocean and is actually a dependency of the United Kingdom. It is usually a popular resort centre not only among the Europeans but also among everyone else. They lie midway between Nova Scotia, Canada and the West Indies about 1,000 kilometers away from New York City.It’s a total haven to all the vacation seekers out there. But first off, let me give you a head start to five of the must see places in the Bermuda Islands.
The Devil’s Hole Aquarium is the first and oldest tourist attraction in Bermuda. Although it has been developed into a well-designed centre, many of its unique and foremost features have been retained. The Devil’s Hole is a natural fish pond where about 300 species of fish can be found. A gift shop and a ship are allotted to give you a personalized sense of enjoyment.

The Unites States Virgin Islands are the group of small islands in the Caribbean that comes under the territory of United States. Basically, the islands are the geographically part of the Virgin Islands archipelago and are located in the Leeward Islands of the Lesser Antilles. The United States Virgin Islands includes mainly three major islands. Saint Croix, Saint John and Saint Thomas and surrounded by the mirror islands. The total cover area of the island is 346.36 square kilometres.
The United States Virgin Islands is a place where you can enjoy your holidays at fullest. There are several tourist destinations that you can explore and have larger than life holidaying experience. One of the top ranked places of the island is the St. Thomas Island. This place offers many tourist attractions like Fort Christian. It is the oldest place standing structure in the Virgin Islands. This fort was built in 1671 by Danish. Now, this building is used as a government building along with a church and court house. Till 1983 this fort was used as a jail.
To come across with another historical place of the island, you can visit the Blackbeard’s Castle. It is another oldest standing building of the island. Today, this place is famous restaurant and hotel. It severs great hospitality and pleasure to the visitors. To experience the beautiful scenery of St. Thomas you can enjoy the Sky Ride. This is just few hundred yards away from the cruise ship terminal. It gives you a chance to witness the best natural sight seeing from 700 feet elevated viewpoint over looking Charlotte Amalie harbour. Additionally, you can also take help of the Trail walks that allow you to have more closure look and a personal interaction with the natural beauty of the island.
The republic of Trinidad and Tobago lies in the southern Caribbean. It is an archipelago state. Trinidad and Tobago are the two main islands of the country and there are twenty one smaller islands. Trinidad is much larger than Tobago in size as well as population. The nation lies outside the hurricane belt. Trinidad is a continuation of Mount Andes which creates a wonderful sight. The other part of the island consists of swamps which are fed by rivers.
Tobago lies to the north west part of the island and tourists are not a regular part of this island. It has sandy beaches which are so beautiful and a very attractive part of the island. Snorkelling and scuba diving are also very popular here. Buccoo bay is an important bay of Tobago which is very famous for snorkelling. Maracas bay is the longest bay at Trinidad and is very much famous for swimming. Mayaro beach is a beach at Trinidad which is a very quiet beach and tourists can easily relax there. Marine bay is again an important bay at Trinidad. Manzanilla beach of Trinidad is a brownish, grey and sand stripped beach with Atlantic on one side and palm on the other; it is again a place of attraction for the tourists. There is another bay in Tobago known as the Pirate’s bay.
Carib and Angostura brewery at Trinidad are the famous breweries.
The Royal Botanical garden at Trinidad is a garden where there are various shrubs, trees and an orchid house also. Devil’s wood yard is a famous volcano at Trinidad which erupts, this is a wonderful sight to see. La Brea Pitch lake at Trinidad releases asphalt from the depth below and is the largest of the three asphalt lakes. Piparo mud volcano is another volcano at Trinidad which erupts and releases mud at a great distance in to the air. The fort king George at Tobago is a very stunning looking fort and consists of prisons, barracks and offices mess. There are some museums and art galleries which contain some preserves of cultural history of Trinidad.
If you want to enjoy a Caribbean vacation, you should be flying to Puerto Rico. Tourists visit here in abundance during the months of December to April. You can enjoy the beauty of the place without crowds when you visit Puerto Rico away from the main season of May to November.

You will see sea turtles, stingrays, urchins and all the other marine life of the Caribbean. They also have a poll where you can actually swim with the Dolphins and another area where you can feed the sharks from inside a cage. This offers more adventure that you get anywhere else in Cancun.

So slip beneath the surface and see the Caribbean from a different perspective.
All of us get tired of the humdrum of life and want to get away somewhere calm and peaceful for the holiday season. The Caribbean Islands offer the perfect getaway.
