If you are planning to spend holidays at the Caribbean, there are factors to consider to ensure that you will have a hassle free holiday.

Most of the Caribbean islands lie within the proximity of the equator. Beacuse of this, the temperatures are cooled by the ocean breeze. However, hurricanes visit annually between June and November. Though some islands are outside the hurricane belt, they may still be affected by the weather. It rains regularly on these islands, flourishing the vegetation. So if you plan indulging to water sports and boat trips, visit the island during days of less rain showers. This ensures that your scheduled trip and activities will not be disrupted or canceled.

The peak holidays are during those cold months in North America. It is usually more expensive to travel during this season. Services for tourist may also be fully occupied. To ensure more comfortable accommodations, it is best to book your hotel and travel needs in advance, but if you are comfortable having many tourists around, then this would be a best time to spend your Caribbean holidays. You will surely meet a lot of new friends or acquaintances.

Tourists from all around the world mainly visits the Caribbean to have fun. It is as always expected that the celebrations and festivals are always crowded. Between the months of February and March, the Carnival celebration in Trinidad happens. During late August, the most awaited Crop Festival in Barbados is celebrated. During these celebrations, the tourists will surely enjoy the entertainments and performances of the Caribbean music legends and various artists.

During these festivals, the Caribbean holidays are most expensive than the usual. It is also expensive during the Christmas season and New Year, because of the numerous travelers that comes in, the months of December and March have higher hotel rates as the residents of countries that experiences winter chooses to get away from the extreme cold and snow. However more expensive, tourists are still willing to pay high costs of the hotels and travel fees.

It is suggested that self- research be done on the Caribbean weather conditions and costs of your stay when planning for the Caribbean holidays. If you are interested to spend your holidays in the Caribbean, then plan ahead. Doing this will give you the best deals and rates. Just remember that the best months to visit the Caribbean is between the months of December and May.

Taking a trip to a Caribbean resort could not be more heavenly. A holiday in the sun is best enjoyed when people are able to get as far away as they can where they can trust the sea is guaranteed deep blue, the weather is continually warm and the sun shines out bright every day. Certain areas are more suited for family trips rather than for adult holidays. Many can mistake coming to the Caribbean resort a place for partying, similarly families may think that this is a safe holiday for children in particular.

This could not be further from the truth, because in order for you to get this holiday right one must complete a certain amount of research. This is not to say that the Caribbean only permits a certain age group into their beaches or islands; however as a parent considering taking their children to the Caribbean resort they may feel uncomfortable taking them to certain beaches that may have a large number of partying adults. Likewise certain groups of people may feel uncomfortable partying in front of young children!

One hotel in particular known as Carlisle Bay (Antigua) was opened specifically to attract party-going adults. However recent enlightenment has seen a growing number of parents with their young children to the beach, seeing as the Bay opened a kids club. As many people know, lying on a beach is not enough for many kids as they need to let out their energy and excitement into doing something active. This can often be something of a stress for some parents especially if they are looking to spend some time out relaxing. The kids club usually provides young children the opportunity to try out various activities and enjoy their holiday more by being a little free from their parents.

This was originally opened as one of the hippest hotels in the Caribbean, attracting many tourists and drawing the attention from its reputation for adding luxury to the quite south coast of Antigua. From the outside the building resembles a neat modernist design, from the inside the hotel is delicately designed with a minimalist approach. This is possibly the best place to stay if people are looking for both an adult and family based holiday, due to its location and style.

The Caribbean does not only offer holidays that need a fancy hotel to make the beaches interesting. The Caribbean resort offers inclusive holidays such as Sandals, which is tailored to be more convenient for parents but also provide bar entertainment for adults. Aside from offer kids clubs, they also cater for themed entertainment in the form of Sesame street characters, which many children will be familiar with.

The bars and restaurants often come with live music and dancing, however, this may not be what the party-goers are looking for. However, this is also not a holiday for people travelling on a budget, as all inclusive holidays come with a price because they offer so much more on the holiday. These can often include flight tickets and hotel accommodation, which is why families considering all inclusive packages will need to look into how far they can make their money stretch.

When we think of the ideal holiday paradise, most often Caribbean holidays will spring to mind. With palm trees, empty sandy beaches and blue waters you will love luxury holidays in the Caribbean, where you have so many islands and quality resorts to choose from.

The Caribbean is made up of thousands of islands, and choosing which to visit on Caribbean holidays is a lovely problem to have. Because the Caribbean islands are spread over such a large area, there are regional differences in climate, but in general, the weather systems of the Caribbean Sea keep the area warm and welcoming. Taking Trinidad & Tobago as an example, the islands enjoy only a slight variation during the year, with an average annual temperature of 25°C with highs of 31°C: perfect for luxury holidays to the Caribbean.

Romance

The Caribbean is undoubtedly a romantic part of the world. Drawing partly on the desert island fantasy of being stranded in paradise, and partly from the innate beauty of the location, these islands are ideal for honeymoons and intimate Caribbean holidays for couples. There are many resorts perfect for romantic holidays where you can walk hand in hand on an empty beach and watch the sunset from the balcony of a luxury hotel.

The Cotton House in Mustique is one of several hotels that offer privacy and luxury on Caribbean holidays that couples will enjoy. You get your own private pool here and the chance to have a suite with its own lounge, so you can have your own space. You may even choose a cottage so you can feel really at home on the island.

For couples who like sailing, there are ‘Sail away’ packages and island hopping experiences. You might like to stop for a time on the tiny Young Island resort close St Vincent while exploring the Grenadines by yacht.

Family Fun

As well as being good for couples, the Caribbean is the perfect place to share with all your loved ones. There are many Caribbean holiday resorts where your children are welcome and can enjoy long days of play in the fine weather. Look out for the ‘family friendly’ resorts and hotels with Kids’ Clubs like the one at the Round Hill Hotel & Villas in Jamaica.

For some activity on your luxury holidays in the Caribbean there numerous opportunities to play golf or tennis, and you can take to the sea with a variety of water sports. You might like to try windsurfing in Barbados or Jamaica. The Round Hill Hotel & Villas in Jamaica have safe waters for learning to windsurf as well as snorkelling and diving. You can rely on sea temperatures in the Caribbean to be clement, and scuba divers will love the access to the colourful coral reefs vibrant with tropical fish.

Natural Beauty

The natural beauty you can see on luxury holidays in the Caribbean is not only found on the coast. You might like to stand underneath one of the waterfalls on of St Lucia, washing yourself with the waters of a Caribbean stream, or float in the fresh water pools in a woodland oasis. On the same island you can see the dormant volcanoes and explore the jungle environment. The Caribbean is an area of natural diversity where you might see wildlife on some islands that are rare and you can’t see anywhere else.
